Free Legal Services Supporting Your Long-Term Well-Being 


About

The University of Louisville's Trager Institute and Brandeis School of Law have partnered to provide limited estate planning legal services for FREE to underserved clients.* Staffed with Brandeis law students and supervised by a licensed attorney who is an adjunct professor at the Brandeis School of Law, the Elder Law Clinic can help prepare simple wills, living wills, and power of attorney and health care surrogate documents.
*to be eligible, your income can be no more than 2.5 times the federal poverty level. 

What to expect working with our expert legal team:

  • Develop legal plans to ensure your long-term health and well-being goals are honored, including legacy planning.
  • Work with a legal representative to complete essential advance care planning documents to protect your rights in the event of serious illness.

The clinic is open during the following hours, available by appointment only.

Tuesdays: 10:15 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Thursdays: 11:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Fridays:  9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
