5. Are non-academic, working professionals in the aging field able to submit a presentation proposal? Yes! Professionals in the field are strongly encouraged to submit a proposal as this conference seeks to examine service delivery complexities and burdens through both academic and professional workforce perspectives. 6. How do I log into the presentation proposal application? There are two ways to log into the online application: 1. Existing Users (if you already have a username/password) If you receive emails from the UofL Trager Institute or have attended previous Optimal Aging Conferences, you already have a username and password. Your username can be found in your most recent email from the Trager Institute. Please fill in the information as prompted on the Login page. 2. New Users (if you DO NOT already have a username/password) If you do not have a username/password for the website, please enter your email in the "New Users" section of the login page and click "Register." University of Louisville faculty & staff: please note, your username/password for the Institute's website are not connected to your UofL ID/password. 7. Can I save my presentation proposal online and come back to it later? No! Once you start the presentation proposal application online, you will not be able to come back later and edit. Please have all the resumes/CVs for your self and co-presenters as well as your three objectives, 250-word description, and 50-word summary before beginning the application. You will not be able to access the application after you submit. 8. What are the sections of the online application? There are two main sections of the online application: 1) presenter(s) information and 2) presentation information. Before you log into the online application, please review the Presentation Proposal Instructions. This document outlines all questions you will find in the online application. 9. How do I submit a presentation proposal with co-presenters? The Conference Review Committee assumes that the primary presenter is the individual who is submitting the application. There is space available for five (5) co-presenters in addition to the primary author whose name is associated with the application. All presenters, including co-presenters, are required to register for the conference to confirm their presentation. 10. Do I need a CV, Resume or Bio? Yes, you will need to provide an updated CV, resume, or bio for yourself and all co-presenters when you submit your presentation proposal. If you or any of your co-presenters do not have either a CV or a resume, please complete the Presenter Bio Template and upload as prompted in the on-line application. You will need to provide these documents when you submit your proposal. 11. Is there a fee for submitting a presentation proposal? No, there is not a fee for submitting a proposal. Presenters are required to register for the conference. Please see questions 12 & 13 for more detail. 12. What are the registration requirements for presenters? All presenters, including individuals who submit the proposal form and any co-presenters, are required to pay for conference registration to present and attend the conference. Submission of a presentation proposal does not qualify as conference registration. Pricing varies per presenter based on applicable conference registration categories (see question 14).
